SPA Recovery Services (Private) Limited (SPAR) is a debt recovery firm established in September 2004. SPAR's main line of business is debt recovery and the firm specialises in the collection of over-dues to various sectors in the industry.

SPAR was first formed to meet the requests of many clients of Sudath Perera Associates, who were looking for a one-stop shop to handle their debt collection issues. However, SPAR today has established a reputation of its own and, in consecutive years, has been rated amongst the top three recovery agencies in Sri Lanka.

SPAR’s current portfolio includes clients from the financial services and local and international banking industry, the garment and textile industry, motor vehicle industry, government sector, estates/agricultural sector, consumer durable companies, traders and manufacturers, to name a few.

The firm has specialised in-house investigators backed up with computerised systems that enable them to effectively follow up on debtor portfolios whilst keeping their clients informed of all steps and progress made on a daily basis.

SPAR’s services further include skip tracing, bank account locating, address verifying and asset locating. The firm is now gearing itself to offer its clients the service of immediate collections on its current portfolio as well. The collection activities encompass a series of planned activities from calling and personal visits to formal written communication until a full settlement can be effectuated or an amicable payment plan arranged.
