Kasuni is an associate at Sudath Perera Associates. After completing her bachelor's degree at the University of Colombo, she joined the firm as a legal assistant in 2022 where she apprenticed in the litigation department. Kasuni was called to the bar of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in December 2023.
Kasuni holds an LL.B (Honors) degree awarded by the University of Colombo and a Diploma in Commercial Arbitration (Honors) offered by the Institute for the Development of Commercial Law and Practice (ICLP). She is also qualified with CCHRM offered by the Chartered Institute for Personnel Management (CIPM). She is a legal researcher and has contributed to several local and international legal publications. Her research interests are in International Investment Law, Law of Taxation and Environmental Law. She is attached to the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department of the firm.
