Praveena is an Associate, who joined Sudath Perera Associates in March 2021 after completing her period of Apprenticeship at the Firm. Praveena holds an LL.B degree from the University of Colombo, and she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Labor Relations and Human Resource Management from the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo. She is currently reading for her Masters in Commercial Law at University of the West of England. She was called to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in March 2021 and is a member of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka.
Before joining Sudath Perera Associates, Praveena was employed as a News Presenter cum Editor in a reputed Media Organization in Sri Lanka and was employed in several other known Multinational Companies.
Apart from her engagement in the field of Law, she works as a Free-lance Translator and a Blogger.
