C.P.E. Gunasingam

Mr. C.P.E. Gunasingam is a tax consultant at Sudath Perera Associates.

Mr. Gunasingam received his bachelor's degree in science from the University of Madras and his law degree from the University of Colombo. He was called to the Bar in 1972. He has over 30 years of experience as a tax practitioner.

Mr. Gunasingam is a fellow of the Sri Lanka Institute of Taxation and sits on the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka and the National Council for Economic Development (taxation cluster). He served as president of the Sri Lanka Institute of Taxation for four years.

He has also served as an assessor with the Inland Revenue Department and as a director of People's Bank.

He has addressed numerous professional seminars and has contributed articles to newspapers and journals on tax related subjects.
